The order was ready, WITHOUT INSPECTION, another 50% paid, order shipped, containers arrived at the port ... the supplier required another 20% (despite the terms of the agreement), saying it was due to the 1-day delay of 50% payment! No release, containers couldn't be open. The supplier didn't get in touch.
Only then the inspection was requested and when done it was obvious that the supplier was a scammer, still decided to order containers inspection which proved there was chemical waste requiring disposal worth $30 000.
Foreign exchange fines were 25% of the agreement value - $ 12 500.
Loss of 80% of the agreement value of $ 40 000.
Sea line charges for containers downtime at the port.
